1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Maison Finish. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at themaisonfinish.com ("Website") and the professional surface finishing services we provide ("Services"), operated by Maison Finish ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), founded by Eric Algarin and headquartered in Orlando, Florida.

By accessing our Website or engaging our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms please discontinue use of our Website and do not engage our Services.

Please read these Terms carefully before proceeding.

2. SERVICES

Maison Finish provides professional luxury surface finishing services including but not limited to:

✦ Cabinet painting and refinishing

✦ Roman clay wall finishes

✦ Limewash wall finishes

✦ Venetian plaster wall finishes

✦ Touch & Refresh annual maintenance program

All Services are provided to residential clients in the Orlando metropolitan area and surrounding communities including Lake Nona, Windermere, Dr. Phillips, Winter Park, Isleworth, and Central Florida.

3. CONSULTATIONS

3.1 Complimentary Consultation

Maison Finish offers a complimentary in-home consultation to prospective clients. This consultation is provided at no charge and carries no obligation to proceed with any project.

3.2 Scheduling

Consultations are scheduled by mutual agreement between the client and Maison Finish. We request a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of any scheduled consultation.

3.3 Color Consultation

Where a separate paid color consultation is agreed upon the fee will be communicated in advance and applied as a credit toward any subsequent project booked within 60 days.

4. PROJECT AGREEMENTS

4.1 Written Quotes

All project pricing is provided in writing following an in-home consultation. Verbal estimates are not binding. Only written quotes signed by both parties constitute a project agreement.

4.2 Scope of Work

The scope of every project — including surfaces to be finished, colors, sheens, materials, and timeline — is documented in the project agreement. Any changes to the agreed scope must be confirmed in writing by both parties and may result in adjusted pricing and timeline.

4.3 Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your project start date. The deposit amount will be specified in your project agreement. Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels within 72 hours of the agreed project start date.

4.4 Final Payment

Final payment is due upon project completion and client sign-off. Maison Finish reserves the right to charge interest on overdue balances at a rate of 1.5% per month.

4.5 Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

✦ Provide clear and safe access to all surfaces included in the project scope

✦ Remove or protect personal items, valuables, and fragile objects from the work area

✦ Ensure the work area is free of pets and children during active work hours

✦ Be available or designate a representative for the final walkthrough and sign-off

5. MATERIALS

5.1 Professional Grade Materials

Maison Finish uses Renner Wood Coatings Aquaris professional grade paints and coatings exclusively for cabinet painting projects. Specialty wall finish projects use professional grade materials including Portola Paints Roman Clay, Romabio Classico Limewash, and professional grade Venetian plaster products.

5.2 Material Substitution

In the rare event that a specified material is unavailable Maison Finish will notify the client and propose a suitable professional grade alternative of equal or superior quality. No substitution will be made without client approval.

5.3 Color Accuracy

While Maison Finish takes every measure to match agreed colors accurately slight variations may occur between digital representations, paint swatches, and applied finishes due to lighting conditions, surface absorption, and screen calibration differences. Final color accuracy is assessed in person at the completion walkthrough.

6. THE 2-YEAR CRAFTSMANSHIP GUARANTEE

6.1 Coverage

Maison Finish warrants that all finishing work performed under a signed project agreement shall be free from defects in workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the documented project completion date ("Warranty Period").

Defects covered under this warranty include: adhesion failure, peeling, cracking, crazing, uneven sheen, and application-related color inconsistency.

6.2 Remedy

Upon written notification of a covered defect within the Warranty Period Maison Finish shall remediate the affected surface or surfaces at no charge to the client within a reasonable scheduling window not to exceed thirty (30) days from notification.

6.3 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from:

✦ Impact, abrasion, or physical damage by client or third parties

✦ Use of cleaning products not approved by Maison Finish

✦ Moisture intrusion or prolonged water exposure

✦ Work performed on finished surfaces by any party other than Maison Finish

✦ Natural wood movement, expansion, or contraction

✦ UV or direct sunlight exposure beyond industry standard tolerance

✦ Normal wear and tear including edge wear and high-traffic surface wear

6.4 Limitation

This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original client at the project address. Company's sole obligation under this warranty is to remediate the defective surface or surfaces.

7. TOUCH & REFRESH MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM

7.1 Program Overview

The Touch & Refresh program is an optional annual maintenance membership available to Maison Finish clients following project completion. Three membership tiers are available — Refresh, Maison Care, and Atelier — each with different scope and pricing as communicated at enrollment.

7.2 Enrollment

Enrollment in Touch & Refresh is governed by a separate annual service agreement. Membership fees are due annually in advance and are non-refundable except where Maison Finish is unable to fulfill the agreed service visits.

7.3 Pricing Adjustments

Maison Finish reserves the right to adjust Touch & Refresh membership pricing with thirty (30) days written notice to enrolled clients. Adjusted pricing takes effect at the next annual renewal.

7.4 Cancellation

Either party may cancel Touch & Refresh membership with thirty (30) days written notice. No refund is provided for the unused portion of the current annual term.

8. WEBSITE USE

8.1 Permitted Use

You may use our Website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use our Website in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.

8.2 Intellectual Property

All content on this Website — including text, images, graphics, logos, photographs, and brand elements — is the property of Maison Finish and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Website content without our prior written consent.

8.3 User Submissions

Any information you submit through our Website — including consultation request forms — is governed by our Privacy Policy available at themaisonfinish.com/privacy-policy.

8.4 Third Party Links

Our Website may contain links to third party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. Maison Finish has no control over the content of third party websites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

8.5 Website Availability

We make every effort to keep our Website available at all times but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to withdraw, suspend, or modify our Website without notice.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law Maison Finish shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our Website or Services — including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Maison Finish for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maison Finish, its founder, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our Website or Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party rights.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

11.1 Good Faith Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our Services both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation. Either party may initiate this process by providing written notice of the dispute to the other party.

11.2 Mediation

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days either party may request non-binding mediation through a mutually agreed mediator in Orange County, Florida.

11.3 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Orange County, Florida.

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Website or Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

13. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms together with our Privacy Policy at themaisonfinish.com/privacy-policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Maison Finish regarding your use of our Website and Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
